Automatic Electric Monophone 1A — The First AE Desk Telephone
An original AE Monophone 1A in highly polished Bakelite — the first desktop telephone Automatic Electric produced after the candlestick era. Features a Type 38 banded handset with spitcup and a #24 dial. Bands and all trim have been newly re-nickelled. A new or like-new rubber gasket has been added to the round bottom to protect furniture. Comes with two black woven cloth cords.

A subset ringer is required for full operation (not included). An original new old stock extensicord is available for an additional $95 (pictured but not included).
