Western Electric 102 — 1920s Round Base Telephone
A Western Electric 102 round base telephone, patented in the 1920s. Rarer than the more common 202, the 102 was produced for only two years. It followed the A1 telephone, one of the first desk sets ever made.
Restoration
Completely restored with a beautiful new finish. Features an E1 handset with matching brown woven cloth cords. New upper and lower plunger bushings installed. Bakelite handset with spitcup buffed and polished. Fully working and ready to use.
Dial Options
- #5 dial — whirring sound with a slight click
- #4 dial — raspier, clickety-clack sound (older, more characterful)
Upgrade Option
Powder-coated finish available for an additional $20 — high-gloss black and abrasion resistant.
